Dance Health Lectures - good for dancers, dance educators and parents of dancers - Great for Summer Intensive Programs
- Dancers are Athletes (60-75min) - helps dancers understand that they must work to prevent dance injuries. This lecture includes discussions on crosstraining do's & don'ts, proper rest, proper dance nutrition (not Fad diets), hydration (How Much?), and dancing and smoking don't mix.
- How to Dance While Injured (30min) - teaching dancers the rules to follow so they may dance without further injuring themselves.
- Foundation of technique workshop (30-60min) - helps dancers understand the importance of proper foot contol and its' ability to prevent injuries as well as its' effect on hip turn-out and all techniques. This lecture also includes the topic of sloppy shoulders. It is more than just a lecture; it helps dancers self-evaluate and teaches dancers how to improve upon their techniques via proper biomechanics.
Dr. Giangiulio has been a regular lecturer for the American Ballet Theatre as well as many other Schools of Dance

Physiotherapeutics & Rehabilitation Lectures
Dr. Giangiulio's presentations cover the physics and technical aspects of physical modalities as well as the proper applications of the modalities.
Dr. Giangiulio also presents a series of lectures on active care and rehabilitative approachs in health care that includes exercise physiology and prescription, functional assessments and exercises, balance assessments and exercises, and the advance concepts of locomotor and motor control approachs to rehabilitaion.
Dr. Giangiulio also provides presentations on clinical approachs to Chronic Pain Syndrome and chronic low back pain - how to identify and care for patients before their conditions become chronic!

Dr. Giangiulio is an Assistant Professor at the Southern California University of California (S.C.U.H.S.) where he leads classes in Physiological Therapeutics and Rehabilitation.
